What a hectic day it was today (strictly speaking, yesterday).

J's on mc so basically it was only me and w. But then again, I was pretty much left on my own because I would feel much more at ease if I completed the work myself. I probably would have to waste more time and effort explaining the task and I simply did not have the time to do that with people breathing down my neck wanting back their tapes.

So anyway, after rushing here and there the whole afternoon, m, cj and I set off later for rx's belated farewell dinner. When we rushed out to the carpark, we realised, to our dismay, that uncle heng had left. So we decided to walk down the 'mountain' to take a bus. As we walked down, cj told us about her 'interesting' experiences with her designer when this car drove past us and stopped at a house gate.

Thinking that the car wanted to enter the house, we took no notice of it and continued on our trek down the mountain, at our own sweet time. No sign of action from the house nor the car.

Suddenly, as I walked closer to the car, I realised that someone was waving frantically to us but I could not make out who it was. I could only see her silhoutte. Then cj, who by then had already walked to the side of the car, gave a cry of surprise (haha. so kua zhang). You'd never have guessed who it was. It was felicia...... Xia Dao~~~

She was nice enough to spot us trooping down the mountain and decided to stop to offer us a ride down. But she apparently didn't reverse because she was afraid a car may appear from the back. So she just waited till we walked to her car (at a snail's pace). She even offered a ride to whoever's going near her destination but too bad, our destination and hers were miles apart.

We chatted a bit on the short trip down and it was rather funny at times. If not for the ride down, we wouldn't have been able to arrive so quickly at rx's dinner. The food was alright though. Didn't think it was fantastic. The yam paste's not bad and that's all I can say. haha.

oh ya, I nearly forgot. In our hurry to get off her car, cj left her umbrella on the car and she only realised on the bus.... If we knew this would happen, she wouldn't have to go back to the office to get her umbrella... haha.
