Sava's over and it didn't turn out well. I'm glad the guys got 2nd, beating PNP which was cool. But it wasn't cool losing out on the mixed. I wonder if I had taken rach's suggestions, would things have been different? But I wanted everyone to have a chance to paddle. People say winning isn't everything but I wonder. Oh well. At least sava's outta the way now. We can start to train properly again with our super small team (if there is one in the first place). I've no intention to train anytime now. I just wanna stay on LAND if you get wad I mean. Haha. Oh well.
Think about happier stuff! Ahzi's album is finally released today! Yay!! After the delay and waiting for another 4 days, it's finally out. But only the usual version. The deluxe is DELAYED yet again till this friday. Still thinking of whether to buy the deluxe version. If it's the same as TW's, then I dun think I'll buy it. It's like $55.90 which is more expensive then my TW version la... and I'm totally broke already. ok, maybe not yet but soon, when October ends. We calculated today that we'll probably spend close to $400 on her these few months because of her album and gcma. omg. I probably have to chew on white bread for like one month. But this is my choice ma... Haha... So I have to live with it.
Went out with fc pple today. Felt quite good. At least I din feel any pressure or stuff. I could just go out, talk, and not think about anything. It's good being on land. It's good just hanging out. It's good not thinking that I still have to rush off somewhere to sweat it out. It's really good. But hopefully I'll be back. soon. I just need a short rest. 休息是为了走更长远的路. I want to go far. So I need a rest. Haha.

Haven't updated in a long time and after some reminders from pw, here I am! Had a few assignments due last week plus didn't know what to type here, so dragged till today. Haha.
SAVA sprints international 06 was held today at Bedok Reservoir. Only the 200m races were held today and I guess canoeists really are not suitable for dragonboat 200m. Or maybe we were too complacent. Too little warm up, focus wasn't there, perhaps, not enough training too. Hope we'll do a better job tmr in 500m.
But today was an eye-opener for me. First time seeing international boats racing. We were like racing beside the Philippines National Police and they were so serious before the race, with their 'coach' or whoever giving them a pep talk. Haha. But we should all treat each race with similar attitudes. Not good to be over-confident. It was quite a shock to us so let's put all our energies in tmr's races.
Wa piang. Talking about the races reminds me of the journey around the west yesterday. I had to borrow db paddles from my sis' school so my dad basically drove the 2 of us ard the west, meeting pple outside their houses to take their paddles. Faint... it's another eye-opener. Haha.
Mid-term break is next week! Yahoo! Though it's been like a term break to me since school started, at least I can slack unguiltily now! Haha. But there's still editing to do cos the video proj's due following week. Sigh. But I'm sure it'll turn out well! The filming was pretty smooth and ELMO was nice.. Haha. I'll try to put up the finished version when we're done with the editing and stuff. Look forward to it! I am!
Wow... This is really a long entry. Haha. And I still have more! How can I forget?? Ahzi's album was delayed AS USUAL till 26th Sep so that made me a bit disappointed last week. Ended up spending $25 on comics. Hiong. Especially when I still need money to vote on gcma plus all her albums. Die die... Too impulsive. Haha. GCMA voting starts on mon!! Shall kope any phone I see and make people vote. Yea... That's a brilliant idea.
Ok... I guess that's enough of my ramblings for now. Any one got ideas on what to do during my break? It's only a short 1 week. And DON'T you dare suggest catch up on my work. Haha.. Kbox anyone?

Dear all,
I know, it's been a while since i've written anything here. And it will probably be a while before the next one. Like the Chinese saying goes, there isn't a never ending banquet. It's funny how people get attached to a whole web page.
I remember writing my first message. I was thinking about how i should write it, how it should sound, what it should say. And over time, the words just flowed. The stories just came, and the feelings just surfaced. I still haven't met all of you, and sometimes we are just strangers typing away on our keyboards, in the office, on our beds, at our desks. The only thing that binds us, is the music.
The road ahead might be long and winding, but it might take us to another plane, another world, another moment to cherish. Life has been good to me and my stubborn optimism tells me, it's not the end my friends.
I have kept some of the messages that had given me strength and inspiration, thank you all for being with me through the ups, and some downs.
This was a special place. The next one will be greater, bigger, and better, because we will be there. Let's move on.

A full circle and an apt ending for her time in Warner. I remember how I blatantly walked past one of her first autograph sessions, wondering who that person on stage was. Only till her 3rd album, did I finally learn to appreciate her music. And the rest of the 5 years was history.
Actually I'm glad she moved on. Remaining in a place for too long creates a sense of, how do I put it.. A comfort-zone because everything's familiar. Moving on means fresh ideas. Just like her stubborn optimism, I believe it's not the end yet. There's still a long way to go! And we'll continue believing in her, supporting her, and cheering (or rather screaming) for her.
The best is yet to come.

I'm soo bored.. I'm in lesson now, learning flash but I lost track of him halfway and I have no idea what's he's talking abt now. haha. He just asked us to save our work but mine isn't even complete. I think i jumped a step somewhere so now my website's all screwed up. HAHA. but this lesson is interesting since it lets me use the computer, and there're no exams! woohoo!
It'll be a mad rush for me later. I've got project meeting, then have to pia down to training (think I'll take a cab), then go for team dinner. OMG. I'm like spending so much money. Somemore ahzi's new album won't be THAT cheap either. Heng I didn't buy jay's album. hahahah. Talking abt ahzi......

YU TIAN, IS SUPER NICE!!! IT'S VERY TOUCHING. One new song (ragnarok DOES not count!) from her album is enough to shock the world. Her zhuanYin is... so... you know?? words can't describe it. Haha. It's outta this world. Although it's only a 30s preview, I have already listed the song as one of my top favourites. See how good it is? And it's not that I'm biased HOR. I bet some of my friends will suan me tmr when they read this but who cares???? It's good and that's a fact. Haha. Must make it a ding jian jing qu.. haha. like TL. woohoo! See? I'm getting all excited and high as I type this entry.
