A pair of jeans from Desigual, a shirt from Esprit + a pair of Esprit pants and 4 $10 Esprit vouchers = 1 pair of Meet Stefanie Sun 'Live' Tickets + 2 tubes of Vapor Drops.

Muahahha. Went to vivo yesterday with my mum and sis and we were in such a good shopping mood! From the equation above, I bought a pair of jeans and a shirt. The rest is my sis'.. hahah. I love the jeans! But it's a bit ex. Haha. Even more expensive than the rest of the stuff combined! $182 but nice. From Desigual, you know the spain shop?? Yea. Their clothes are nice!! So anyway, after accumulating $300, I went to redeem the tickets. I'm so nice, I help people get tickets. And the person at the info counter told me still got lucky dip to try out for. Every $50 get one chance. We redeemed sooo many times le but yesterday was the first time I knew abt it?!?! So anyway went to try our luck but only got 2 vapour drops. Haha. Suay..

Since I'm here, I shall blog about monday's kbox session! Haha. ahem.. I've an announcement to make.

Up-and-coming group consisting of Eileen, Chairmeh, Amanda, and Kaizi, have released their first batch of music videos called the UnGlam series! Unfortunately, stocks have been flying off the shelves since it hit stores and is currently sold out. No requests for viewing of these videos will be entertained due to a shortage of supply.

MUAHAHA. It was fun filming our mvs but it was hard work too. Haha. We had to keep singing a song over and over again (note: wo ke yi) and act to our 'bestest' abilities. Haha. And the booking of the 'studio' was cheap too! Only $10+ per person! Woohoo! We shall go back and film our 2nd release if there really is a demand out there (there is a dd?!?!). Haha!

HELLO!!!

I'm super tired now but yet very happy!! I shall not spoil anything yet so I'll start with my VERY busy day!

I woke up the earliest ever in, I think 2 months, at 7am for training today. Actually it's training the hc gals but still, I paddled. Haha. It felt good yet sad. Good because I had forgotten how nice it was, feeling the water and the air. Sad because my speed and fitness had fallen so much. It was easy clocking 1120-1140 min per round 2 months ago. Now, I have to restart all over again. Feeling the water, pulling hard, twisting, and getting the rhythm. Just hope to get things right again.

So after that session of paddling, I rushed off to vivocity (again) to work! My first day at Daiso! Didn't have lunch because I was late in meeting jt and pw so went up straight to Daiso. James said they're very strict on punctuality and we didn't wanna get blacklisted on our first day. Anyway, I was separated from jt and pw and ended up stacking japanese ceramics. Plates, bowls, cups... There was so much to clear and we ended up just stacking them wherever there was an empty space. Tsk tsk. I can't imagine when we have to re-arrange them to make them look presentable.

Anyway, it was soon dinner time (at 5pm?!?!) so we went to meet chairmeh and amanda and we chiong to carl's jnr because we only had 1hr. Haha. Now begins the exciting part! Apparently, auntie ahzi was supposed to perform at vivo's opening on 1st dec and they were giving out 400pairs of tickets to those who accumulated at least $300 in one day. So we decided to kope receipts from pple. While we were slogging away, Chairmeh met his friend, who gave Chairmeh his receipt of $200+, I think. Chairmeh and amanda share, jt and pw share while i share with ccc. Haha. Then at carl's jnr, amanda saw her sec sch snr and koped her receipts that came out to over $100. Woohoo! Got spill over so the leftover receipts went to ccc and me.

While we went back to slog our butts off, ccc, amanda and chairmeh 'begged' the customers from giant to give them their receipts and they aimed at those big trolleys kind. Haha.. And woohoo!! Super long receipts appeared! And we got 3 pairs of tickets!! MUAHAHHA. So happy! When they came up to show us the tickets, I got sooo motivated, I kept singing to myself while putting up the stock. Muaahahhaha... Yay!! One week to seeing ahzi again!!!!

Finally.... I can sleep! Back's hurting, whole body falling asleep. My mind shall rest too. Yahooo!!

me n jt after sneaking out to look at the tickets!!

the tickets!! yay!! thanks guys!

the loooong receipt!!

Exams are finally over! I'm so glad they're over and done with. I hope I don't have to da pao any of them. The exam itself was actually ok. The continual assessment will most probably be the one which will pull my grades down and force me to da pao. Can only blame myself for playing too much during the term.

In retrospect, what happened at the beginning of the term really affected me a lot. I was talking to Ali the other day and for the first time, I realised what a great impact it had on me. I never did 'evaluate' why it became like that or the reason behind all that happened. I'm grateful to Ali no matter how much I don't like talking about the subject. Haha. But everything's over now.

Exams are over but it's also the beginning. It's slowly coming back. Never mind the broken wings - It's time to mend them and fly. Soar through the skies again.

This is suspicious. I can't see my previous post in here again so I suspect this entry will over-ride the previous one. That's dumb.

Anyway, it's been rather long since I updated! Hahaha.. I just read finish White Teeth by Zadie Smith. I'm supposed to be studying but whenever I'm bored, I'll just read a bit. Hehe. I've got to admit, at the beginning of the book, I was a tad dissapointed with it because the reviews are so good and stuff. It was a bit slow at the beginning but yet it was essential to give us a background of the characters and develop their characters. Slowly but surely, it started getting more interesting. I think I read the 2nd half of the book in one shot! Haha.

So anyway, I played pool for the first time on Friday (yes, I'm sua-ku)! Went to meet jt n ps at the airport to study after school on Friday then landed up at vivocity for the i-weekly bash. After that, went to play pool! Woohoo! Pool is fun!!! WE should play more often! Hahaha...

I think the airport's becoming my 2nd home. I keep going there to study. I think I can even just sit there and spend my whole day there doing nothing. A different kind of feeling just washes over me whenever I'm at the airport. So on Saturday (after the super late pool session), met jt, ps and chairmeh at (guess where?) the airport to mug. This time, from 11am to 6pm. Supposed to be 10am but I kinda overslept. Haha. Halfway through, we were so distracted, we ended up doing crazy stuff. Hahaha... Taking photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pose here pose there, arrange hair (services offered by *ahem* David Gan), adjust lighting.. Hahaha! So farni la! I shall let photos do the talking. Heehee!! We are MAD.

ME!!!!!

"Think before you say anything, because if you don't, it usually comes out wrong and unintentional. We wouldn't want that would we?

No games. No politics. No mulling over what's lost or gained. We look forward, sometimes we stay awhile on the spot to enjoy the scenery. But the world doesn't wait for us. So we have to keep going."
- ahzi

That's so true. Everyone should memorise those lines and remind themselves constantly to check their conduct and mannerism. It wouldn't be nice if people misinterpret your actions or words right? Similarly, if you do not want an onslaught of rebuttals or if you are not prepared to bear the consequences, DO NOT make comments that you'll regret. It's amusing how people can get so agitated over one sentence that was obviously made in a spur of the moment. Maybe it's true, maybe it isn't. Does it matter anymore? So what if weilian won? So what if ahzi won? Who really won? Maybe it's better to have a little bit of mystery in our lives. People bored out of their minds will probably spend the rest of their lives pondering and mulling over the various possibilities (there're only 2 by the way). What if... What if... Are "What If"s that important? Instead of bothering about a "What If", why not bother about "I Want", or "I Have", or "I Will"?

Maybe now the problem here isn't about a "What If". It may be about the "Truth". Then again, it may also be about taking responsibility of one's words and actions. True, taking responsibility is important. But so is letting go. Few people actually noticed that "error" so why harp on it? It may or may not have been an error. Who knows? Only ONE paper reported on that error and it was right at the corner where few noticed. Everyone still believes the former piece of information. All I can say (and hope) is that people be discerning and distinguish hype from facts, and sense from rubbish.

Maybe we should all take a leaf from ahzi's book and have more EQ.
