Sammi Show Mi Singapore Concert 07 - 13 Oct 2007 Indoor Stadium.

A pity she was talking in Canto throughout the concert (except when auntie appeared). Amanda and Cheryl were having trouble understanding her. haha. I was translating (roughly) for Amanda while Cheryl's mum was her translator. Twl was so sick, she was unusually quiet. Mongolia's weather must have been horrible.

Anyway, Cheryl and I reached early yesterday to catch auntie when she arrived. But we were so early, we even spotted Sammi coming. Ps was so suay. She just reached Kallang and we were contemplating whether to go and pick her up. But due to difficulties in ps understanding our directions, ps decided to wait for the bus instead. Less than a minute later, we spotted a van coming in. After so many false alarms, I was more reserved but Cheryl was already sprinting across. Haha. I only confirmed it was her when I saw taking her sunglasses and putting them on in the van. So funny. And after the usual waving, we were expecting her to enter through the usual entrance so I can tell her about the vegetables. BUT.... she went through the main shutters where the props and set usually go. diao....

One thing that was different in this concert. The artiste didn't 拜台at all. That's quite weird. There was the altar and stuff but it was her working personnel burning the incense. But nothing much happened during the concert. Except for one time, she was supposed to use her head mic but I think sth cropped up (no sound or sth), and she was adjusting it even while the song intro was being played. At the last moment, she walked over and got a handheld mic, starting on the DANCE item immediately. Wa... her 应变能力 is zai, and she was like so calm.

Talking about her dance, really 放 and I enjoyed it - her shaking of her head and er.. entire body. Really cannot take it. Even in slow songs, a sudden shake of her head. wa.... hahhaha... Anyway, we were all rather quiet in the first part of the concert (we were sitting near the ceiling!!), getting distracted by the people in the first row. I thought Sammi's 2nd segment, where she spoke in between each song, was rather touching and 温馨 - in canto of course. Haha.

And then Sammi intro-ed 遇见! We, I think the crowd too, were waiting eagerly for auntie's appearance and thought she'll come out after the first verse. Haha. Sammi had to explain that she still had one more verse to sing before auntie will appear. MUAHAHA. When auntie finally appeared with her BIG bouquet of flowers, the 3 of us rushed down to the bottom of the balcony with twl's super bright led boards. We weren't screaming much cos we knew the music would be too loud and Sammi's still on stage to distract her. Haha. Their interaction was so funny and 绿光 was high! I really think 绿光 is such a great song to bring up the mood. And auntie's lack of imagination really showed cos her actions are exactly the same, and at the same place! arhaha. And she made mistakes till Sammi was the one to cover up for her - too engrossed in her 'na na na na' and her rap.

Okie, finally her solo - Sometimes love just ain't enough. Quiet enough for us to try to shout for her and she saw us!! Even though we were at the very top tier where people don't usually notice. At first we were just screaming for her but we weren't sure if she really heard us when she waved. I think it was the leds at first. Then, we tried again while she was looking the other way, and she was like 'EARH??' into the mic, turning to us. The entire stadium can hear la. So "coooool"... 3 of us and we were loud enough for the usually hearing challenged auntie to hear us. Haha. COOOOL... Because we were so high, I started playing with the led, so the 3 of us were doing a wave thing with the leds. Auntie saw us and she was like laughing la.. nearly missed a word. then yanmei and the entire family saw us and kept laughing, AT us. Oh well, we serve to entertain. Haha.

While returning to our seats after auntie's performance, we heard people saying "他们不是来看Sammi的! 是来看燕姿!" Wa... so paiseh... Haha.. And then a mad rush of phonecalls to the outside world. ps was our link to the happenings outside and when xiaorong jie appeared outside with the van, we decided to make our way out, before the encore (but after the nice dance segments). We were planning for our escapade while waiting for auntie to leave, and eating donuts that ps and jt bought. yum yum! Suddenly Sammi appeared, in her white suit, like she just went off stage, still taking off the mic and stuff. so pretty! but SCARE US.

First reaction? scream. 2nd reaction? Auntie's coming out soon too! hahaha.. Sammi was soo fast, her fans didn't even have time to reach the exit so we were like loudspeakers, telling people that sammi left already (tho some were sceptical. fine lor...) And then auntie came out, back into her normal attire. We shouted for her, telling her about the stupid vegs and donuts. She obviously heard us cos she stood outside the van for quite some time looking at us but the pple behind her was rushing her. No choice, couldn't give her the donuts. We were so caught up in her appearance that we forgot to rush to the car. hahaha. Our timing was perfect, just that we didn't expect the van to go against the usual route. DARN. Some cruising around and a "early" Macs meal, I went home with increasingly aching thighs.
